I am a Research Assistant working on artificial intelligence and robotics, with a focus on autonomous robotic systems that can operate reliably in challenging real-world environments. I am currently a Master’s student in Telecommunication Engineering at Hanoi University of Science and Technology (HUST), supervised by Assoc. Prof. Do Trong Tuan. I have been conducting research at the Aero-Space Electronics Laboratory (ASELAB) since 2023 and, since December 2025, at the Autonomous Vehicles and Intelligent Systems Laboratory, Posts and Telecommunications Institute of Technology (PTIT).
My research interests include perception, localization, navigation, and coordination for multi-robot systems in environments where reliable positioning or communication may not be available. I am also interested in edge AI, communication systems, simulation, and digital twins for the development and evaluation of autonomous systems. A central motivation of my work is search and rescue: Vietnam is frequently affected by natural disasters, and I want to develop robotic systems that can help responders access hazardous areas, collect timely information, and improve rescue effectiveness. My long-term goal is to pursue a PhD and contribute to robust autonomous and multi-robot systems that can be deployed outside the laboratory.

Research Projects
iSARS — Intelligent Search and Rescue System
A mobile search-and-rescue system designed to maintain continuous communication between command teams and field responders in disaster environments while automating victim detection and localization. I contributed to the project from concept and system design through implementation and field testing, including the mobile communication infrastructure and integration of AI models.
The system was applied in search-and-rescue support activities in Bac Ninh during Typhoon Yagi and in a fire-response drill at Fukang Technology. The project is related to our IMCOM 2025 work on real-time victim positioning using drone imagery and metadata.
